Amy Childs has revealed she feels her life has become a “living hell” since she became a reality TV star.

The former TOWIE star said that her family have been “terrorised” throughout the 18 months she’s been a household name, by people jealous of her success.

This has included Amy’s family home in Brentwood and her dad’s flower business being burgled.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Amy said: “My life has become a living hell. Me and my family are being terrorised.”

The 21-year-old TV personality added: “My dad has now been turned over four times. It just feels like this nightmare is never going to end.

“We're being terrorised. This has all happened since I became famous. I feel so guilty for my family.

“I'm just a normal girl from Essex enjoying my life. Why is this happening to me? I just think they are well jel.”

Meanwhile, despite the fact that Amy has noticed fame can have an ugly side to it, it looks like the red-head is gearing up to star in a brand new reality TV show.

According to The Sun, Amy and her cousin Harry Derbidge are to star in a remake of The Simple Life which starred Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.

Apparently called The Simpleton Life, the show will feature Amy and Harry trying out various different job roles that normal people do day-to-day, like socialites Nicole and Paris did in The Simple Life.
