With Prince William away in the Falklands on RAF duty at the moment, Kate has been keeping busy, embarking and impressing on her first official solo engagements.
When not working, the duchess is enjoying quiet nights in, snuggling up in front of her favourite show – The Only Way is Essex.
“Shu-uup” we hear you cry, but according to staff at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, who met Kate when she visited Liverpool on Tuesday, it’s true.
One hospital worker told the Daily Star that Kate was “more lovely than you could ever imagine” and spoke of staff’s shock at how down-to-earth she was.
They said: “After a while Kate started talking about TV and told us she watches The Only Way Is Essex.
“She has us all laughing, saying she never misses an episode and that Lauren Goodger is her favourite.
“Kate said she really hopes that Lauren doesn’t get back with Mark because ‘he is not nice enough to her’.” Take that Wrighty!
It’s not the first time Kate has revealed her passion for TV, previously admitting to being a big fan of period drama Downton Abbey. Surely much more regal than vejazzles and spray tans?
The Royal couple met actress Jessica Brown Findlay, who plays Lady Sybil Crawley in the hit drama, at a BAFTA event when they were in Los Angeles as part of their official US tour last year.
The stunning actress told Ok! magazine: “I got to be presented to William and Kate, who was beautiful and lovely and very kind!
“I was flattered and privileged to be presented to the two of them at the BAFTA event in Los Angeles.
“They picked me out and spoke very highly of Downton Abbey, and it was lovely to hear.”
Much like the rest of the nation, Jessica added: “They told me that they were huge fans of the show.”
