Skydiver to fall 36km from space?

A skydiver is set to perform a 36km fall from space.

Felix Baumgartner is planning to break the record for free-falling from the highest altitude as he aims to jump out of a plane at 120,000 ft.

He will be wearing a protective suit - which has taken five years to design - that will help him deal with the high atmosphere and -70C temperatures. But if it were to tear then moisture in his eyes and mouth could boil.

However, he is confident of succeeding after testing the suit in a three-hour simulation.
