Good news boys: Pippa Middleton is still a single lady it seems, after friends of the events planner confirmed she is not dating George Percy.
Last week rumours surfaced that Pip, 28, had found love once again with her ex-beau and former university flatmate Earl Percy, after romantic sparks flew between them during the festive season.
George was there for Pippa following her split from city broker Alex Loudon in November last year, and the pair spent time together in Early Percy’s ancestral home, Alnwick Castle - causing rumours that the old flames of passion had been reignited.
The good friend were said to have had a magical time at Alnwick – not hard considering the castle is in fact used as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter movies.
But it seems that Pippa and George really are just pals and nothing more, with a friend telling Us Weekly: “They have always just been friends. I don't know how this particular rumour got so out of control.
"Both of them say they are friends and I've not heard or seen anything to suggest otherwise."
Another source added: "I couldn't imagine them together. Their friendship is more like brother and sister."
Last week The Sun reported that Earl Percy – who is set to inherit a fortune of £315million and is known to friends as the ‘Prince of the North’ – is head-over-heels for pretty Pip.
“George is very smitten and completely in love with her. It looks like the Middleton sisters will be completing the double before too long,” an insider told the paper.
But it looks like he might just be another one to add to the Pippa’s long list of admirers…
