Celebrity Big Brother star Natalie Cassidy has reportedly taken up with her ex-fiance, eight months after he was convicted of assaulting her.
The couple, who have a two year old daughter Eliza, split after rows turned to violence.
Adam Cottrell admitted hitting the former EastEnders actoress in June last year and was sentenced to 120 hours of unpaid work and given a restraining order stopping him contacting her.
After sessions to deal with his alcohol problems Adam has been spending time with Natalie and Eliza.
Natalie's agent told the Daily Mirror: "The restraining order against Adam has been lifted due to Adam seeking help for his alcohol dependency.
"As a result, Natalie and Adam are on civil terms."
However, a friend of the family suggested that the couple had rekindled their romance.
They said: "Adam is a genuinely lovely guy and he has been working very hard to deal with the issues which had come between them," the friend revealed.
"Natalie loves him very much and they have a strong bond through Eliza.
"They're enjoying spending time together again and recently celebrated Adam's birthday together. They are determined to give Eliza the best possible start in life."
