Ooooh there’s nothing like a good Twitter spat and they don’t come much better than Cheryl Cole v MC Harvey – let the battle commence.
Chezza has taken to Twitter to hit back at Harvey’s suggestion the pair had a ‘relationship.’
The former So Solid Crew member spoke of his alleged friendship with Ms Cole in an interview with Now magazine this week.
He said: “She's a good girl. We've got a great respect for each other.”
Claiming they grew close after the star’s divorce from footballer Ashley Cole, Harvey added: “We started confiding in each other. A lot of it was like "We can't trust anyone out there, so we're just gonna trust each other."”
Well Cheryl is not a happy bunny.
The Girls Aloud singer Tweeted: "Was this "relationship" happening in your head @harveyofficial ?! Are you smoking something?"
Clearly furious, she then added: "@harveyofficial I think I've met you once maybe twice at public events and With your wife !! #sh**justgetsweirder."
Harvey, who was previously married to Cheryl’s friend Alesha Dixon, before having a child with nearly-Girls-Aloud member Javine Hylton (awkward) responded: “Do you actually want me to tweet some of the messages you emailed me @cherylcole pipe down and stop playing the saint in front of your fans.”
He then wrote: “I had your back @cherylcole untill you sent that sh** dissapointed in you if the public seen these emails you would end up with egg on your face.[sic]”
Not content with that, Harvey continued: “And let's get this straight @cherylcole I don't need no hype of you! I'd rather go broke and work in sainsburys than talk about your personal sh**.
Finally, he added: “This is not a twitter beef I still have massive respect for @cherylcole but you shouldn't of tweeted that knowing we both have personal messages to eachother #silenceinthecourt.”

Cheryl’s bandmate Nicola Roberts has now added in her (rather hilarious) tuppence worth Tweeting: “Emails..?? I think someone's been having you on mate..,” before quipping: “#shedoesntdoemailsshedoesphonesex”
Cheryl retweeted the quote adding: “*spat my tea out* Lmfao.”
