The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been enjoying getting to know the new addition to their family – an adorable black Labrador puppy.
Prince William is said to have delighted Kate with the dog for her 30th birthday (January 9) and the fluffy bundle of joy is keeping the Royal couple on their toes.
Sporty Kate enjoys an active lifestyle and she has been straight to work training and walking the pup.
A source told The Mirror: “The dog is ever so cute.
“The Duke and Duchess have been seen with it several times and he runs along at their heels.
“They are constantly in fits of laughter as it tries to catch them up.”
The Royal pooch is expected to travel with Catherine and Wills as they split their time between their London and North Wales homes.
If the dog is treated half as well as the Queen’s beloved corgis, he is sure to be King of the kennel.
According to the Daily Mail, a former royal chef once revealed that a daily menu for the dogs would be typed up and posted on the kitchen wall.
“They’d have poached chicken or liver, or rabbits shot by William and Harry which we’d clean, cook, debone and chop for them,” he explained.
“We also baked scones which the Queen crumbled up and put on the floor for them.”
