Far from Blue: Beyonce is said to have given birth to baby girl
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have welcomed a baby girl into the world – according to reports.
Although no official statement has been released as yet, the famous couple are believed to have called their daughter Blue Ivy Carter, causing great confusion as many initially thought she had been named Ivy Blue!
Multiple sources are said to have confirmed to E! News that the baby was born last night in New York, in a private wing of Lenox Hill Hospital.
Close friend of the family, Rihanna Tweeted: "Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih."
Music mogul Russell Simmons wrote: "Congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z."
JLS added: “Congrats to Jiggaman "Jay Z" and beyonce on their new born girl baby Blue Ivy...a new Star has come into the world! Lots of Love..Oritsé x”
Beyoncé announced she was expecting her first child with Jay-Z in spectacular style at the MTV Video Music Awards in August.
After performing her song Love On Top, she told the audience: "I want you to feel the love that's growing inside of me."
