Ashley Cole was reportedly thinking of taking Cheryl abroad for a few days over Christmas but knows that it would be impossible for them not to be photographed.

Instead the Chelsea footballer has reportedly increased security at his home, so Cheryl can come visit him without being spotted.

A source told Now magazine: "What he's done is turn their marital home into Fort Knox.

"It's a significant location for them because it's where they'd planned to spend the rest of their lives together. "

They added: "Deep down I think both of them still dream of living happily ever after."

"That's why they go to so much trouble to keep in touch and let each other know that they still care."

Meanwhile, the Girls Aloud singer has insisted that she does not yet have plans for the holidays.

She told Star magazine: "What am I doing for Christmas? I honestly have no idea. I've got into this zone of just waiting to see what happens.

"I want to speak to my family, see what everyone wants to do. If it comes to it, I'll cook."

    cheryl appears to want to keep all her personal life private and her wishes should be respected..a number of her fans want to know what she intends doing in her showbiz life so they can book if need be..i wish her luck whatever she deides to do..
