Robert Pattinson has ditched plans of driving (well, flying) home for Christmas, so he can spend some much needed time off with girlfriend Kristen Stewart.
The Brit boy is swapping the snow, rain and general miserable winter weather of the UK for some LA sunshine with his lovely lady. Wise choice!
The pair were originally believed to be spending Christmas day with their families, before reuniting on boxing day, but Rob has had a last minute change of heart and wants this Christmas to be extra special with Kristen.
A source told Hollywood Life: "They will be together for the holidays and they are happily together in LA and relaxing away from the limelight."
Rob and Kristen look set to return to the UK later in December, for a winter break on the Isle of Wight.
They are said to be planning a romantic getaway and love the privacy they get on the Isle.
Then they will then head back to London to spend time settling into their plush new Notting Hill pad.
Robert and Kristen are determined to make 2012 the year they focus on their relationship, after 2011 saw them kept apart with intense work schedules.
With Breaking Dawn in the can and Kristen recently finishing up on Snow White and the Huntsman, while Rob ponders what movie role to take on next, it seems it’s going to be a very special New Year for the loved up stars.
