Disney star Selena Gomez is gearing up to propose to her pop star boyfriend Justin Bieber, if recent rumours are to be believed.
Apparently the 19-year-old is keen to show Justin, 17, just how much he means to her, and thinks popping the question is the way to do it.
The National Enquirer claims Selena wants to do everything she can to make Justin feel more secure in their relationship, after a fan claimed he had fathered her young baby.
A source allegedly told the publication: "Selena is crazy about Justin, and she hates seeing him so upset over the paternity allegations.
"He's been on edge thinking Selena might leave him, so she wants to get him a ring to show that she's with him for the long haul. Even Justin's mom Pattie is in on the secret."
Last week the young couple also sparked rumours that they might be engaged after Selena was seen sporting a sparkly band on her ring finger.
A spokesperson for the teen soon denied that the pair were set to wed though, telling Us Weekly: “She’s not engaged.”
The rumours came as the cute couple celebrated their one year anniversary in Mexico, where they were attending the wedding of one of Selena’s friends.
Hmm…we doubt the couple are planning to get married any time soon, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled just in case!
