Here in the stv.tv/entertainment office, we have started something called ‘Clyde Watch’ – where we each take turns to venture to the office window and shriek back how scary the rising River Clyde looks, thus terrifying ourselves in the process.
Far more entertaining than writing about Kate and Wills or Caroline Flack and Harry Styles (well amost).
Our brave camerawoman Tulip decided to go one better and venture out into the eye of the storm to capture some footage of the Clyde, which looks close to bursting its banks.
Thanks for forsaking your Christmas party hairdo for that one Tulip.
Meanwhile, from the comfort of his office chair, our intrepid reporter Michael MacLennan ventured into the eye on the storm on Twitter, producing a roundup of the top reactions to Hurricane Bawbag.
“Panic buying caused by #hurricanebawbag has resulted in shelves being stripped bare of Irn Bru, Pot Noodles and Green Rizzlas” Pols80 being a particular favourite.
You can also watch the Clyde action live on our Storm Cam – we love the drama here!
Keep up to date with live updates from all the official sources and reports from STV on the weather gathered in one place with our live storm coverage.
