Harry Styles’ mum has reacted angrily to reports that her son is dating Caroline Flack, and has reportedly warned the 32-year-old to back off.
Anne Styles apparently became uncomfortable after snaps of teen Harry sneaking out of the Xtra Factor presenter’s London home after spending the night hit the press yesterday.
And now she’s said to be worried that Harry, 17, will end up getting hurt by the TV host.
A source reportedly told Star magazine: "Anne doesn't want Harry to end up getting hurt. Caroline is a worldly woman, who is never short of male attention."
They added: "Anne just feels Harry needs to stick to girls his own age and says Caroline should back off!"
News of the pair’s alleged romance has been rife in the last few days, after the pair seemingly spent the night together. It was even trending on social networking site Twitter, as people tried to keep up-to-date with the latest developments.
Caroline’s recent interview with Now magazine, in which she defended dating someone so much younger, has also sparked huge interest in the relationship.
She told the magazine: “Some people tend to see the negative immediately and that's what I find really strange. If two people like each other and get on, why does anyone else find a negative in it?
“I know it's human nature for everyone to gossip. But why say it's bad? No one's being hurt at all in anyway.”
Caroline added: "It's the age gap that's the story. What's hard for me to get my head around is people saying it's disgusting. I don't think it is.”
