X Factor USA judge Nicole Scherzinger was left looking hurt and confused recently, after trying to embrace her ex Lewis Hamilton and being met with an icy response.
Brunette beauty Nicole was snapped leaning over to hug racing driver Lewis, whom she split with last month, in a car park in LA.
But the F1 ace couldn’t have looked less interested, and even kept his hand in his pocket, snubbing his former girlfriend’s attempt to smooth over their situation.
The couple ended their four-and-a-half year relationship in October, citing busy work schedules as the reason. But rumours circulated that Nicole, 33, was keen to settle down and start a family with Lewis, 26 - somehting he wasn't yet ready for.
A source told the Mirror at the time: "Lewis decided they had to part, she wanted more than he could offer at this stage in his life."
Nicole was said to be in bits following the split, but carried on with her gruelling schedule nonetheless, battling through the pain of the split.
So it will no doubt come as a huge blow to the X Factor judge that her ex could act so cold towards her.
Mind you, we’re sure Nicole won’t be short of offers from eligible men who would be more than happy to queue round the corner for a chance of hugging her.
In fact the star’s X Factor co-worker Steve Jones is said to have been doing his best to cheer her up with nights to the cinema and coffee dates.
Lewis meanwhile was recently spotted enjoying a night out on the arm of Nicole look-alike Phreeda Sharp, who is a long-time friend of the racing driver’s.
