She’s regularly regarded as one of the world’s most stylish women in the world, but Pippa Middleton has divided opinion in the fashion world after turning up to a friend’s wedding in a garish green dress.
Pippa, 28, shot to overnight fame after her sister Kate married Prince William in April this year. Male admirers flooded social networking sites to pay tribute to the brunette beauty’s killer curves, which were perfectly shown off in her clingy cream maid of honour’s outfit.
But the Duchess of Cambridge’s little sister has left fashionistas undecided about her latest look - a silk below-the-knee green dress teamed up with black heels and a black hat, which she wore the St Oswald’s Church wedding of her old Edinburgh University friend Humphrey Bowles.
The usually stylish Pippa made a fashion faux-pas by opting for the green outfit, a colour which is considered “unlucky” for weddings.
And as the Daily Mail also points out, high heels like the ones Pippa wore are often considered “inappropriate” for country weddings – with kitten heels a better option.
Green is a colour that Pippa has pulled off with classin the past however, with the party planner wearing a striking emerald coloured Alice Temperley floor-length gown to Kate and William’s royal wedding reception in April.
And Pippa has even boosted clothing sales in the past after wearing particular garments, with the red Hobbs dress she wore to Wimbledon in the summer selling sold out in less than a day.
