Mike Tindall’s antics on his boozy stag do certainly raised a few eyebrows but his fiancée Zara Phillips proved she knows how to party too, after enjoying a raucous hen weekend with 19 friends.

The royal bride-to-be, the Queen’s granddaughter, flew off to Portugal with her pals before booking into the CampoReal Golf Resort and Spa.

The group of girls, which included Sky Sports presenters Kirsty Gallacher and her sister-in-law Autumn Phillips, soon got down to the job at hand, partying.

Keen horsewoman Zara clearly decided to throw royal protocol about suitable attire up in the air, after donning a net tutu and bright pink wig as well as a plastic cow around her neck.

The girls then partied the night away enjoying cocktails, wine and sangria while playing drinking games, the News of the World reported.

The next day they all relaxed in the hotel’s spa before enjoying a spot of lunch followed later on by a beach barbecue.

Zara and her friends clearly had a great time during the weekend, but it was slightly more low key than fiancé Mike’s boozy, wild stag do in Florida. The groom-to-be and 10 friends even managed to ring up a bar bill of £12,000 in just one night.

Zara will marry long-term love Mike on July 30 in Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh. The couple, who have been together for seven years, got engaged at the end of last year after Mike proposed his partner with a platinum and diamond ring he designed himself.
