Chelsy Davy made quite an impression at Kate and William’s wedding with not one but two eye-catching outfits, but the on-off girlfriend of Prince Harry won’t even be attending the next royal wedding between Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall.

According to palace source Prince Harry hasn’t been given a “plus one” on his invitation to cousin Zara’s big day on July 30 at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland.

A royal insider told the Daily Mail: “Harry is down to attend the wedding alone. William and Kate are going, but Harry doesn’t have a plus one.”

In fact Zara, who is said to “adore” the prince, is even believed to be planning to set him up with an eligible young woman to help take his mind off his relationship with blonde Zimbabwean Chelsy.

“Zara was never very close with Chelsy and as she and Harry are currently on one of their “off” periods she thought it best if he comes to her wedding solo,” a source told the paper.

“Zara adores Harry and the last time he and Chelsy were off she busily went about trying to set him up, telling every pretty girl that she could find that her cousin was free and single.” They added: “She’s very protective of Harry and sees herself as a bit of a matchmaker.”

The guestlist for Zara and Mike’s wedding has not yet been made public, but we’re sure there will be a fair share of suitable young ladies for Harry to take his pick from, if he so wishes.

Of course the 26-year-old prince is rumoured to have a bit of a fancy for Kate Middleton’s sister Pippa, a 27-year-old events planner who is also thought to be involved in an on-off relationship at the moment.

Pippa isn’t believed to have been invited along to the wedding, but the source said Zara would make her welcome if little cousin Harry decided to ask her.
