Former X Factor star Olly Murs didn’t let missing out on a BRIT Award win on Tuesday ruin his night and cheered himself up by managing to land a pop stunner’s phone number - and a cheeky snog to boot.
The singer, whose hits include Please Don’t Let Me Go, reportedly got former Pussycat Dolls singer Kimberly Wyatt’s digits after pursuing the US star throughout the night.
The Sun reported that Essex star Olly was clearly "on the prowl", and decided to set his sights firmly on Kimberly.
"Olly thought he'd have a crack at Kimberly. His persistence paid off and he swapped numbers with her before going in for the kill and giving her a kiss,” a source told the paper.
He finally managed to pull the object of his affection at Sony’s Gaucho steak house bash after the awards, which were staged at the O2 Arena in London on February 15.
Olly had been up for the British Single gong at the event, going up against stiff competition including Cheryl Cole, Taio Cruz, Tinie Tempah, Matt Cardle and Florence & The Machine. Tinie Tempah lifted the award for his hit Pass Out.
