Duchess Kate offered style advice from Kim Kardashian

Kate Middleton might often be regarded as the ‘queen of style’ but reality TV star Kim Kardashian still thinks she can offer the royal some fashion tips.

The Duchess of Cambridge – who has inspired a revival of lace and helped high street pieces sell out in a mere matter of hours after wearing them herself – is famed for her elegant, ladylike style and appreciation of fine tailoring.

But Kim – star of shows such as Keeping up With The Kardashians - thinks she could improve her look by getting Kate to try out one of the pieces from the Kardashian sisters’ new range for retailer Dorothy Perkins.

Speaking to the website Entertainmentwise, Kim said: “Kate seems like a really sweet person and she's a princess.

''We love her sense of fashion. She could wear our looks and team it with one of her hats.''

Kate's already worn items from Zara, L.K.Bennet and Whistles, so we'll be keeping our eyes well and truly peeled to see if the duchess turns up in one of the girls’ creations!

Kim is a huge fan of Kate’s and recently revealed that she was hoping to catch up with the royal for lunch, while she was in London promoting the clothing range.

Speaking to Life & Style magazine before her trip to London, the brunette beauty said: “We’d love to [see Kate Middleton], are you kidding? We all love her! I’d call her up and ask her to lunch. She’s amazing.”

Kim’s boyfriend, rapper Kanye West, is also said to be a big K-Middy fan and is reportedly keen to encourage his bootylicious girlfriend to dress more like the English rose – so maybe the reality star was hoping to pick up tips from the duchess on their girly lunch date!
