Life is on the up for Cheryl Cole. She has been spotted looking relaxed and healthy since recovering from malaria and her long awaited return to the X Factor is imminent.
As her relationship with Derek Hough continues to blossom, it seems there’s just one thing missing in her life – a baby.
According to new! Magazine, Cheryl’s serious illness has made her realise how much she wants to be a mother and she reportedly thinks Derek Hough would make the perfect father.
A friend told the magazine: “When Cheryl was cooped up at home after her illness, she realised she isn’t getting any younger and wants to be a mum sooner rather than later.
“She said Derek is the perfect guy, so it goes without saying she thinks he would make an amazing dad.”
Cheryl is said to view fellow X Factor judge, Dannii Minogue, as an inspiration. The Girls Aloud star sees how happy Dannii is and how she can juggle motherhood with a successful career and feels she could do the same.
