Cheryl Cole has taken a big leap in her rumoured romantic relationship with Derek Hough and met his family, according to reports.
The stunning singer, who recently battled the potentially deadly disease malaria, is currently in LA with the Dancing with the Stars professional, enjoying a sun-soaked holiday.
And while there, the pair, who have been rumoured to be dating for a number of months now, popped in to see Derek’s nearest and dearest.
A sourced told New! magazine: “Derek has introduced Cheryl to the family. They’re very loved-up and Cheryl has become an extremely important part of Derek’s life.
“She’s a lovely girl and has clearly been through a lot recently, so it was great to finally meet the girl who’s been taking up so much of his time!”
The cute couple, who recently holidayed in Tanzania, where Cheryl caught malaria, have been spotted out and about on a number of dates since arriving in LA.
And Derek is said to be keeping a close eye on his rumoured girlfriend as she battles back to full health, ensuring she is eating properly and getting lots of rest.
With stories surfacing that Cheryl is keen to rush through her divorce from estrange hubby Ashley Cole, and things apparently hotting up between the Fight For This Love singer and the dancer, it looks like a new romance might well be just what the doctor ordered!
