Harry Potter star Emma Watson is the quintessential English rose but the stunning actress has shocked fans by chopping off her trademark flowing locks.
Following on from Robert Pattinson's recent short-back-and-sides and Kristen Stewart's ginger dye job, Emma has become the latest star to drastically change her look.
She posted a picture of her new cropped 'do' on Facebook and received mixed comments from fans.
Steven Strange wrote “BIG MISTAKE!!!” and Parinyas Sing commented “you looked so beautiful in you’re long hair why did you cut it?”
Not all think it was the wrong move and many have commended the star’s pixie-like look.
Katie Pfeiffer wrote “I love it it looks so sophisticated”, whilst Nami Hasegawa simply said “awesome.”
Emma clearly felt it was time for a change having had long hair throughout the duration of her role as Hermione Granger on Harry Potter.
Having an edgy crop has done little to harm fellow Brit babe Carey Mulligan’s career or that of model Agyness Deyn.
