Having a pop: Katie Price believes Peter Andre can't handle criticism Pic: Ken McKay / Rex Features
Katie Price’s attempt at setting the music charts alight dramatically crashed and burned, but the glamorous mum of three has not let that dent her confidence.
She told The Sun: "It's so hard to sing and dance at the same time. I now appreciate how difficult it is.
"I knew I wasn't going to be good at it. But you only live once."
Katie also managed to have a pop at former hubby, successful singer Peter Andre, saying: "I can take criticism and Pete can't bear it.
"He can't bear if anyone says one bad thing about him."
Price also admitted that her assault on the charts came at little cost, telling The Sun: "I did it as a bit of fun. It didn't cost me anything, and I had lots of fun miming it on GMTV."
Now she plans to return to simply being a model, designer, television personality, entrepreneurial mum of three, who also does a bit of writing on the side – well sort of.
Her fifth novel, Paradise has hit the shelves and her fourth autobiography is being published in October.
They have all been ghost-written by former journalist Rebecca Farnworth.
Price told the paper: "She knows how to put a book together. I don't. I'm not a writer.
"I sort of say a plot and how I want it and then each chapter I go through with Rebecca."
