Victoria Beckham is rumoured to be spending a fortune on renting a grand mansion and throwing a spectacular showbiz party. And her husband isn’t even playing in the World Cup this time.
But Posh is bringing Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, seven, and Cruz, five, to support David who is working with the England team.
Not content with keeping a low profile, the Queen of the WAGs is determined to create a sensational fuss.
Since the 2006 Baden Baden World Cup when all eyes were no the flashy WAGs, Victoria has distanced herself from that particular circus. But now she wants to let the world know that she’s still the one to watch.
A friend said: “Vic’s not really friendly with any of the younger WAGs, and knows that some of them think she’s a bit snooty.

“But taking part in the World Cup means everything to David, and to the boys, so she’s had to get over her insecurities.
“They’ve invited everyone they can think of – including Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Eva Longoria Parker, as well as all the high-profile England players and their wives – there are even rumours Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie might make an appearance.
“Vic wants this to be the event of the World Cup, and it’s her way of showing everyone she’s still Queen of the WAGs.”
But it won’t be all lazing around the pool, Victoria intends to take her sons to visit children around Cape Town as part of her work with Save The Children.
The lavish villa – which is costing £680,000 to rent for six weeks – has an infinity pool, a sports car, a library and six bedrooms.
A source says: “It’s luxury beyond belief and Posh knows that when people see it they’ll be amazed – she enjoys showing off how successful they’ve become.”
“But they’re also realistic that it’s probably David’s last World Cup so they’re determined to go out in style.
“Victoria wants to make it extra special for him and wants him to always remember their time in South Africa.”
