Susan Boyle should be having the time of her life right now but recent reports have indicated all is not well in the Boyle family and that Susan is set to sue her brothers over comments they have made about her wellbeing.

Neither Susan, nor Gerry or John have confirmed legal proceedings are in place, but the Boyle brothers have spoken to New Magazine, revealing their concerns for their younger sister and how they feel the family are being pushed out of her life.

Both admit they were thrilled for Susan when she won Britain’s Got Talent and her album went to no1, but they feel they are increasingly being kept away from the star, in part due to their two nieces who are now ‘controlling’ Susan.

Gerry explained: “We don’t want the public to think everything is rosy and the family is happy. Susan’s doing well and we’re proud of her, but we don’t approve of some of the people around her.

“We think our two nieces Kirsty and Joanne are controlling her career. Before Susan was famous, Kirsty and Susan hadn’t seen each other for ten years.”

John added: I feel angry and concerned. She could be so happy, but there’s no happiness.”

BOYLE-ING OVER

Much has been made about the pressure Susan is under and how this is affecting her health.

Gerry commented: “I don’t think she’s got learning difficulties. In my opinion it’s a personality problem. You and I would shrug off disappointment, but it’s a major issue for her.”

When asked if he thought Susan was lonely, Gerry said: “I’m positive she is. She needs support and reassurance.”

Gerry spoke to Susan last week and she told him he shouldn’t be speaking to the press. He told the magazine: “She’s happy, but I think she’s living in fear that someone will take this all away.”

John added that he “won’t stop” contacting Susan until he knows she is content and happy.

These guys just don't don't know when to shut up. Since they obviously cannot respect their sister's request not to talk to the Press, then Susan has every right to take them to Court. She may well live in fear of everything being taken away - most probably by her shameful brothers' constant interference. It is they who seem to have the problem, namely they are the control freaks. SHUT UP and leave your beautiful sister alone to live her life the way she chooses, not the way you choose Gerry and John Boyle! SHAME ON YOU BOTH! To betray a member of your own family is the most loathsome betrayal of all.

"Gerry spoke to Susan last week and she told him he shouldn’t be speaking to the press."

So what does he do? Runs to the press.

"Susan Boyle should be having the time of her life"

She is having the time of her life, and they can't stand it.

One thing that would help their sisters wellbeing would be for them to shut up and leave her alone. She's had enough abuse in her life. They're replaced the neighborhood bullies.

If Susan Boyles brothers really care about her they'll stop causing hassle for her ,by making quotes like the one above .

Gerry has always said she's 'fragile ' and has learning difficulties .If thats true , it was irresponsible of the family to allow Susan to look after her beloved mum .Surely caring family should have been looking after their mum AND Susan .

Susan is a lovely caring and talented lady , and if her brothers crave fame so badly they should go out and find it for themselves .

Carry on regardless Susan , you're not emotionally fragile, you're a lovely NORMAL person with feelings , unlike your oafish hard hearted brothers , who seek fame by making silly statements like this .

Could it be that the two nieces are on to a good thing and want to cause a rift between Susan and her brothers so that they can take advantage of Susan?

Now that Simon Cowell is profitting from giving Susan her chance (and fulfilling a dream for her), her agent brother seems to be regretting the fact that she is not on his books! He could have seen her talent before and given her a boost, so it is no use crying now over spilt milk. We all have to live by what opportunities present themselves. Good luck Susan - and hope you can cope!

@jodakist Joanne Crawford is one of Susan's favorite nieces and Susan's known her since babyhood. Susan has chosen her to be her PA for that reason. Anybody who thinks Joanne "controls" Susan hasn't been reading the newspapers.

Susan hadn't seen Kirsty Foy her other niece for 10 years , because she is an entertainment lawyer living in London. As the only member of the family with high level experience in the entertainment business, Susan chose her to help her put together a support team, including her manager, Andy Stephens, one of the most highly respected people in the business.

She didn't consult her brothers, because they have no experience and from their recent despicable interviews, one can see that Susan may not have felt she could trust them.

    Now Gerry Boyle is changing his appraisal of his famous sister to no longer "fragile", as he once reported, but, at present, as having a "personality problem". I think, like most everyone else, Susan has her good and bad days, yet, also, has the sensitive nature of an artist;

but,her every little word or movement is ruthlessly pounced upon and overanalyzed by everyone possible. This includes outright lies, as has been proven, by reporters and who knows whoever else. Leave this woman and her beautiful talent alone to do what she was born to do, obviously...All she wants to do is SING and hope to make people happy. She has more than done so.

dylanfan, you're so right. All that the woman wants to do is sing, she's never done anything to hurt anyone, but for some reason so many people think it's OK to hurt her as if she doesn't have any feelings.

It's amazing how many sociopaths walk among us, the first one that comes to mind is Sharon Osbourne.
