Peter Andre is getting help from Mel B in his hunt for love, a report has claimed. Scary Spice is helping make sure that Andre moves on with his life.
The Aussie singer split from his ex-wife Katie Price a year ago and is now looking to the future.
He is determined to be in a stable long-term relationship by Christmas.
A source told Now magazine: "Peter's been on a long journey, but he's reaching the end.
"He's given himself plenty of time to grieve and to be angry; now he's ready to open up a better dialogue with Katie Price and move on with the rest of his life."
Andre is said to be determined to improve his relationship with his ex for the sake of their children Junior and Princess.
He is well aware of the damage that squabbling divorced parents can have on children.
The source added: "Peter's let go of a lot of hurt.
"He's thinks it's really important that Junior and Princess don't detect any hostility between him and Jordan.
"He's making sure that they have a better relationship, but is also thinking more about the rest of his life and finding a new partner."
Good friend Mel B has decided to play cupid and is determined to find Peter the perfect woman.
The source said: "Mel knows Peter better than anyone. She's been his girlfriend, so she knows what he's like in a relationship.
"She's got plenty of single girlfriends in LA that like the look of him, so she's nagging him to come and visit with the kids and go on a few dates.
"She and her husband Stephen Belafonte think it'd do him good to meet a new woman."
