All White?: Jim White was delayed from getting on flight due to 'incident'
Scots Sky Sports presenter Jim White was reportedly banned from boarding a British Airways flight because he had been drinking.
According to the Daily Record, the popular presenter was knocked back from the 7.50pm Glasgow to Heathrow flight on Tuesday, although he was allowed to board the next plane an hour later.
A witness at the airport told the paper the presenter was “pretty far gone.”
Another added: “He appeared to have spilled something on his trousers and was definitely drunk. The staff had no option but to tell him he’d have to go and sober up.”
The Record phoned White and he said: “I was fine and I’ve nothing else to say. Ok thanks.” He then promptly hung up.
British Airways confirmed: “There was an incident involving a passenger on Tuesday evening. Due to this incident, the passenger was denied boarding the flight they were booked on but did board a later flight.”
