It’s only April, but talented singer Susan Boyle is already being tipped to land the Christmas number one in the charts with her new album.
Online retailer Amazon has made the prediction after receiving two million requests for the follow-up album to SuBo’s debut, I Dreamed a Dream.
The 49-year-old from Blackburn had the fastest selling debut album in UK chart history with her first effort, so it’s no surprise dedicated fans of hers want to get their hands on her next musical masterpiece.
But most people would think seven months before the release of the album is a bit too soon to predict a winner. Not according to loyal Boyle fans, who are making sure they get their copy as soon as it hits the shelves.
An inside music source reportedly told The Mirror: “We haven't seen this before. It's seven months ahead of the release and already people are putting in requests for pre-sales. It's an incredible achievement already."
Susan shot to fame on last year’s Britain’s Got Talent, after giving a stunning performance of the song I Dreamed a Dream from the musical Les Miserables.
Since then she has gone on to enjoy worldwide fame and success, stunning those who dismissed her at her first audition, based on her dowdy appearance.
SuBo is expected to start work on her sequel album in two weeks time – and it won’t be a minute too soon for the fans who are desperate to hear her new work!
