Susan Boyle enjoyed a night out with the girls in the Scottish capital on Thursday night as she watched the classic musical Les Miserables at the Edinburgh Playhouse.
Sitting through the iconic song I Dreamed a Dream, from which her worldwide renowned Britain’s Got Talent performance was inspired from one year ago, the 49-year-old is said to have mingled quite gracefully with fellow audience members after the show.
Two SuBo fanatics Louise and Colette Bradley from Barrhead, Glasgow were one of the lucky ones to spot the star and jumped at the chance to meet their idol.
Ecstatic fan Louise said: “I am a massive fan, I adore her. There were a lot of people who noticed Susan but we just held back and brass-necked it so we could meet her.
“She was really nice and friendly.”
Susan, who was said to be in a rush, was more than happy to stop for a quick photo with the two girls although the star did admit she was supposed to be keeping a low profile at the moment.
The unlikely superstar hit the headlines earlier this week after announcing she would be releasing an autobiography to inspire others to continue dreaming their dream.
She is also busy working on her forthcoming second album, which could feature original songs written especially for the Blackburn spinster.
