Susan Boyle has just agreed to a special guest appearance in Australia’s Hey Hey It's Saturday show. The show – popular for nearly 40 years – features a showcase for top talent.

Talking about her first visit to the country, she told the Herald Sun: “I am so excited about going to Australia. This time last year I never dreamed I would leave Blackburn; now, I am travelling to the other side [of the] world. Now that can't be bad!"

Hot on her heels is Katie Price who is being lined up for a cameo in Neighbours.

Her reality show What Katie Did Next was a huge hit in Oz and she’s going there in May to film another series.

A source said: "The guys on Ramsay Street are keen to get her on for a one-off. Like Lily Allen last year. Who knows, Katie and Alex could be the next Kylie and Jason."

KANGAROO POUCH FULL OF STARS

X Factor judge Dannii Minogue has returned to her homeland to have her baby.

While she enjoys the antipodean sun, rumours circulate about whether Simon Cowell will drop her from the next series of the programme or not.

A friend of the star told The Sun: “Simon is genuinely concerned about whether Dannii will be able to cope with the show.

“It's hard enough for someone who doesn't have young kids. As well as the actual show, there is the mentoring and all the backbiting and bitchiness that goes with that.”

Foul-mouthed Scottish cook Gordon Ramsay has extended his empire to Australia with the opening of Maze in Melbourne.

Aussies are, apparently, queuing up for a taste of his tucker.

Faith singer George Michael was recently pictured frolicking on a yacht with a muscular mystery man.

Sydney's Daily Telegraph reported that he’d been seen in numerous gay bars.

Kelly Brook has reportedly been offered a part in Neighbours too and has decided to move Down Under with her rugby player boyfriend Danny Cipriani.

A pal of Kelly’s told the Daily Star: “She is really excited about going to Australia, and to get an approach from Neighbours is a real bonus.

"Show bosses are planning to freshen it up to mark 25 years on the box and Kelly is just the sort of glamorous star they want.”
