Everything Changes: Take That star cut up over bust-up
Love rat Mark Owen is cutting a forlorn figure in rehab with the singer petrified that his five-month marriage to wife Emma is at an end following his revelations he had a series of flings behind her back.
Mark turned Emma’s world upside down 11 days ago when he confessed to “maybe 10 flings” , including an affair with 24 year-old accounts manager Neva hanley which lasted nearly five years.
Following his confession the Take That star then booked himself into rehab to battle depression and booze problems.
Now Mark has another problem on his hands- the realisation that his marriage to Emma mother to his two children Elwood, three, and Willow, one, who he has been together with for seven years, may not survive his love rat confession.
A source close to the star told The People newspaper: “ He is desperate to see emma. Being away from her for this long is so hard.
“But it’s knowing what is going to become of his marriage that is really getting to him.
“He was expecting Emma to come, just so he could see if there was maybe a slight chance she will take him back.
“Now he is petrified Emma won’t give him another chance.”
After the revelations Emma took her wedding ring off and Mark left the family home in Wandsworth, south-west London, to book into the clinic.
At the time mark admitted: I have been an idiot. Nobody else is to blame,” but the star insisted he had been faithful since marrying Emma in a church near Inverness in Novemeber.
As for how he’s dealing with rehab the source added: “Mark has been doing all of the counselling he is being required to do, but there I still a lot of time for his mind to wander.
“And the thing most on his mind is whether or not his marriage is going to work out.”
