Back to Black singer Amy has become a fan of Capoeira – the Brazilian cross between dance and karate. She reckons the sport could save her life.

Capoeira originated in Africa and mixes dance and a martial art without violence.

A source told The Sun: “Amy loves it because it's good for strength, toning and great for working up a sweat. It is also helping her focus."

She has been doing sessions three times a week while she works on a new album.

Over recent years serious concerns have been raised about Amy's lifestyle as she appearead to be out of control and struggling with addictions.

Amy, 26, seems to have overcome her drug problems but reports recently told how she jostled with a fan who tried to take a photo of her.
