Squeaky clean? The boyband have revealed a naughtier side
We thought it was bad enough that Vernon Kay and Ashley Cole had been caught up in the sex-text scandal, but now squeaky clean boyband JLS have admitted to the pastime too!
And it seems that the guys have decided to come clean about their saucy messaging habits now they’ve hit the big time, in case it comes back to haunt them in the future.
Cutie Aston admitted that he’d sent sex texts to previous loves, saying: “I sent them to girlfriends all the time in past”.
However, he said he isn’t too bothered about them coming back to haunt him, as stripping off at JLS concerts has left him unconcerned about being revealed by things like this. He joked to Star magazine: “ What else is left to see? It’s not like people don’t see us taking our clothes off all the time on stage!”
Oritse also seemed pretty laid back about the the prospect of one of the messages being resurrected, commenting: “They (ex-girlfriends) probably have (them) but such is life.”
However, slightly more bashful Marvin said he has decided to curb the texts now he’s a household name, saying: “I’d never do it now I’m in the band”.
Of course the boys might seem a bit sex-obsessed, but at least they're playing it safe, with the launch of their very own condom brand! Check out STV's story on the boys' venture.
Meanwhile, the guys are also hitting the headlines over their current love lives, with Aston being linked to The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford, following her split from McFly’s Dougie Poynter, and things are also reportedly hotting up between Frankie’s bandmate Rochelle Wiseman and Marvin.
