Kristen Stewart has insisted she will not let fame and fortune go to her head. The Twilight actress has revealed she is determined to remain as normal as possible, despite the hysteria that surrounds her.
Whilst Kristen is the first to admit life since the Twilight phenomenon has been crazy, she refuses to accept she is missing out on the things that most 19 year old girls enjoy.
According to Showbiz Spy, Kristen said: “I feel like I do live a normal life despite it all. I have normal friends and like the same normal stuff as anyone else.
“I just can’t go to the 7-11 and get a slushy or whatever. That can get a bit weird.”
She may feel normal but not many people get to go the the Oscars, win Elle Style Awards and BAFTAs or have the world’s most desirable vampire – Robert Pattinson – on their arm!
At least Kristen is attempting to avoid getting too caught up in the showbiz lifestyle. The same can be said for rumoured boyfriend R-Pattz, who is also keen to keep his feet on the ground.
He previously spoke about the pressures of becoming a global star saying: "I'm plain, I like normal things. But now there's rumours about the places I like to visit, and I can't go to those places anymore.
"One time I tried. I wanted to celebrate my birthday at the same place I always go to, and it was a total failure. There were so many people, I couldn't have a good time.”
He added: "From that point on I try to avoid places where I can be seen and become the object of paparazzi and curious people."
