Peter Andre: planning to buy a luxury new home
Peter Andre is to buy his first family home since his split from ex-wife Katie Price. It believed that the reality star is to buy a £3.5million house called The Curve.
The futuristic hilltop house was once seen on the Channel 4 show Grand Designs.
The property in Brighton has an indoor pool and a huge glass-walled living room.
Peter currently rents a property next door to the six-bed, six bath house. Friends of the singer say that he is keen to move into the massive home if he can afford to pay the asking price.
The Aussie singer is renting his house from artist Barry Surtees, whose fight to build The Curve in the Withdean hills was watched by millions of viewers on Grand Designs 10 months ago.
The dad-of-one had an heart attack during the build and later needed a quintuple bypass operation.
A source told The People: "Peter was shown around and was incredibly impressed with the place - it would be his dream home.
"He's already had a look to see if he can afford it because he feels like now is the time to settle down and buy a place, rather than rent.
"But the price-tag is a huge ask for anyone."
Andre is believed to be worth about £8million, which is tiny compared to his ex-wife's £40million fortune.
However, the couple signed a pre-nup before they married and so kept their own money and assets when they split.
At the time Peter said: "I wouldn't get a penny if we broke up because I signed a pre-nup - and it was my idea."
Since the split Peter has been raking in the money, he has a reality show, a successful perfume range and is set to get £1.4million from ticket sales for his current tour.
