Kop that!: sexy secretary Vicki Gough and Liverpool FC part ways
Vicki Gough, the Liverpool FC secretary reported to have been Ashley Cole’s mistress has been axed from her job after an investigation into the affair.
According to a report in the Daily Star, the 30 year-old blonde, who wrecked Girls Aloud star Cheryls marriage, left the Anfield club “by mutual consent” after admitting she sneaked into the England and Chelsea ace’s hotel for secret sex sessions.
Bosses had pledged to investigate claims Vicky had been Cole’s mistress after her name was leaked on the internet as the mysterious blonde behind sex scandal newspaper revelations that she had twice sneaked into Ashley’s hotel for secret sex sessions while he was playing away for Chelsea.
A source told the Star that Liverpool WAGs unease at Vicki, who is also reported to have dated married Blackburn Rovers striker El-Hadji Diouf, was behind the move.
Vicki is one of five women Cheslea ace Ashley, who is currently recovering from a broken ankle, is alleged to have cheated with during his five years spent with pop babe Cheryl.
Before moving to Anfield, single blonde Vicki used to work for Birmingham City.She was “outed” as the woman at the centre of the “Cole-gate” sex scandal by Blues fans on an internet forum.
At the time Liverpool FC spokesman Ian Cotton said: ”We are aware of the story and we will examine the facts to see if they have any bearing on the club.”
Last night Cotton confirmed: “Vicki’s employment has ended by mutual consent between the club and her. We wish her well in her future career.”
When news of the scandal first broke the woman at the centre of the claims asked not to be identified for fear she would lose her job.
She claimed Cole” begged her for sex” and that she bedded the 29 year old married star in hotel sex sessions just months after he was alleged to have had a drunken one night stand with 22 year-old hairdresser Aimee Walton.
She told reporters: “"He was petrified of getting caught by his wife and by Chelsea, but he just couldn't stop himself taking crazy risks. That must have been part of the thrill for him."
The alleged romps are meant to have taken place before Chelsea away games on October 28 in Hull and Birmingham on Nov 14, 2008.
Speaking about the first time she was sneaked into the team hotel the woman told reporters: “Ashley begged me to come to his hotel room for sex, but it was like a military operation getting into the room.
She also claimed during their second sex session Cole turned the TV up so that team mate John Terry wouldn’t hear them next door.
Speaking about the latest news a source told the Daily Star: “It’s good riddance as far as we are concerned.
“It’s hard enough stopping men from straying without women like that working with them every day. Wedding rings didn’t seem to stop her.”
