Susan Boyle has decided to quit her Scottish home and move to London, after various attempts by intruders to get closer to the star.
SuBo - who came second on last year’s Britain’s Got Talent, and has gone on to launch a hugely successful singing career – was left shaken up in January after a male fan broke into her home.
In November last year she was also left feeling uneasy after a crazed American fan turned up at her Blackburn property.
Security around the council home was increased each time, but it seems that the singer has now been convinced it would be safer for her to up sticks and move somewhere completely new.
The Scotsman quoted a source saying: “She (Susan) has now agreed to move to a place in the city (London), where she'll stay when busy working. During promotion commitments it is thought she will stay for weeks at a time.” The insider added: "To see her in a secure location will ease a lot of minds."
In the past SuBo refused to be forced out of her home, telling STV: "I'm staying right where I am - there's nobody pushing me out of my house, nobody's going anywhere."
But it seems that the singer has changed her mind, after execs at Simon Cowell’s record label SyCo reportedly convinced her to make the move.
On the upside, Susan’s been assured that her new flat will be cat-friendly, so she can take her beloved moggie Pebbles with her.
