Blonde ambition: mystery woman blamed for wrecking Cheryl Cole's marriage is
Liverpool FC bosses are investigating claims that stunning Anfield secretary Vicki Gough is the marriage wrecking mystery blonde at the centre of sex scandal allegations against married England and Chelsea ace Ashley Cole.
The move comes after the 30 year-old secretary’s name was leaked on the internet as the woman who allegedly had sex text with Cole and slept with him prior to two Chelsea away games in 2008.
Now reports say embarrassed Liverpool bosses are examining all the facts amid suggestions the blonde stunner could face the sack for dragging the club’s name through the muck.
If true the news is sure to cause anger and anxiety among the clubs WAGs, which include Alex Curran, wife of Ashley’s England team-mate, Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard.
A club insider told the Daily Star Vicki could be for the chop if she “is deemed to have brought the good name of Liverpool into disrepute, “ adding: “We also have the thoughts of our players wives to consider.”
Liverpool FC spokesman Ian Cotton said: ”We are aware of the story and we will examine the facts to see if they have any bearing on the club.”
Before moving to Anfield, single blonde Vicki used to work for Birmingham City.She was “outed” as the woman at the centre of the “Cole-gate” sex scandal by Blues fans on an internet forum.
Vikki’s mother Patricia, 62 and sister Tatum, 23,who still work for Birmingham City declined to comment on whether Vicki had been involved with the Chelsea ace.
But a family friend told reporters: ”Who she goes out with is nothing to do with her ability to do her job. No one can question her professionalism at work.”
When news of the scandal first broke the woman at the centre of the claims asked not to be identified for fear she would lose her job.
She claimed Cole” begged her for sex” and that she bedded the 29 year old married star in hotel sex sessions just months after he was alleged to have had a drunken one night stand with 22 year-old hairdresser Aimee Walton.
She told reporters: “"He was petrified of getting caught by his wife and by Chelsea, but he just couldn't stop himself taking crazy risks. That must have been part of the thrill for him."
The alleged romps are meant to have taken place before Chelsea away games on October 28 in Hull and Birmingham on Nov 14, 2008.
Speaking about the first time she was sneaked into the team hotel the woman told reporters: “Ashley begged me to come to his hotel room for sex, but it was like a military operation getting into the room.
She also claimed during their second sex session Cole turned the TV up so that team mate John Terry wouldn’t hear them next door.”
Terry was recently stripped of the England captaincy over allegations he slept with the ex girlfriend of former team-mate Wayne Bridge and paid for an abortion when she got pregnant
Girls Aloud star Cheryl, who flew out to LA without her after her appearance at the Brits on Wednesday night was said to be devastated when Vicki became the third woman to be linked with her husband.
In 2008 the Coles marriage looked to be on the rocks after allegations Ashley had a drunken one night stand with hairdresser Aimee Walton but the pop babe decided to give him a second chance.
Then last week glamour model Sonia Wild was sent sexy texts and nude pics of the England left back.
Ashley admitted taking the pics but insisted he didn’t send them to Sonia, blaming a mix up that saw him loan the Pay As You Go mobile before deleting the snaps.
