Lindsay Lohan has gone from child star to troubled adult, at risk of ruining her once flourishing career. The former golden girl of Holllywood has fallen from grace after trips to rehab and wild behaviour documented in the press have seen her lose popularity amongst movie makers and the public in general.
It seems that she does little to help herself in the popularity stakes and she has now angered many Christians by posing like Jesus on the cover of French Magazine Purple.
Although it had been pointed out that the pose was not Lindsay’s idea, people are angered at the image and have commented on USmagazine.com, airing their disgust.
One angry reader said: “SHE is NOT to be compared to OUR ALMIGHTY FATHER because HE is ONE! How can she mock the Lord? This is disgusting, what is WRONG with Hollywood that they think they are above the LORD! I'm going to vomit!!!!”
Another added: “Wow, this is so sad. I pray that she some day understands Who she is truly mocking. What a pity, she makes me sad.”
The images were taken by Gucci photographer Terry Richardson and show Lindsay standing with her arms stretched out like Jesus on the crucifix.
She is dressed in white and sporting a headdress made from thorns.
