Katie Price has said that she’s planning to sue the Daily Star over allegations that her marriage to Alex Reid is “nothing more than a sham”.
The pair got married in Las Vegas last week, and since then there has been accusations from some in the press that the union between Price and Reid was nothing more than a money-making venture.
However, talking to Chris Moyles on Radio 1 this morning the 31-year-old glamour model said she’s going to take legal action against the Daily Star.
Price said she was following the example of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are suing the News of the World for libel over a report that they were to split imminently.
Price claimed that she doesn’t bother buying newspapers anymore because of what they print, and said: “The Daily Star are the worst, I advise no-one to ever buy it.”
She added: “We’re going to sue them.”
Labelling the reports as “a joke”, Price said that her primary concern was for her followers.
She explained: “I know I have really loyal fans, the ones who show up at signings and they mean more to me than anything else.”
