Golden boys: Jedward are top of the pops

John and Edward Grimes’ single with Vanilla Ice – Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) has beaten Owl City’s Fireflies to the top spot.

The Glee cast rendition of Somebody To Love, the second highest new entry, languishes at number ten.

Meanwhile, the terrible two-some have found themselves at the centre on a row over the X Factor tour.

The X Factor losers have reportedly been given twice as many songs as some of their fellow contestants.

It has been claimed that the brothers are now getting the “cold shoulder” in rehearsals from the others who are jealous of the special treatment they are receiving.

John told the Belfast Telegraph: “We have three or four songs, and the others have two.

“It’s because of this year’s show and all the stuff there was about us. We are not going to complain, it’s what we are being told to do.”

A tour source added: “Some of the others who got further in the competition might not be too happy, but Jedward are the stars.”

The X Factor live tour is to begin at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on February 15.
