If Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner didn’t realise before that Hollywood is a dog eat dog world, he sure does now. Especially after one of his New Moon co-stars rubbished his latest movie.
And if he knows what’s good for him Alex Meraz would do well to give fellow Twilight star Taylor Lautner a wide berth when the latest instalment of the vampire-romantci fantasty Eclipse premieres in May.
25 year-old Meraz, who plays one of the wolf pack in came out all guns blazing on Twitter as he blasted Taylor’s latest star studded movie Valentine’s Day “lame and desperate” in a rabid attack. sure to bite deep with his co-star. And that’s without even having seen the film!
Meraz directed his rabid comments at Lautner after watching a preview of the movie
He Tweeted "Sorry Taylor but the movie 'valentines day" looks lame and desperate it cries out 'look we have all the biggest starz in 1movie pleez watch!'"
Taylor isn’t the only one likely to be furious at Meraz comments, with a raft of Hollywood superstars who appear in the rom com –Taylor Swift, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner,Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper and Jessica Alba- all likely to be gunning for him.
Perhaps realising that he had bitten off more than he could chew Meraz tried to beat a hasty retreat and distance himself from the comments by back tracking and writing ; “"P.S. it has nothing to do with the talented actors in the movie I just don't like the producer & Directors 'get rich quick skeem' nuff said."
He then posted another grovelling excuse an hour after that saying :"talk about biting the hand that feeds me..but I'm a wolf for crying out loud! I'll be careful next time I spill twitter all over everyone." Quite.
