Britain's Got Talent's singing sensation Susan Boyle has said that she is happy to go without all the luxuries that accompany her global stardom. The 48-year-old has claimed that she is happier staying in her council house in West Lothian than being in a luxury hotel.
A source close to the Scottish singer claimed that Susan is uncomfortable with all the trappings of the celebrity lifestyle.
The insider told the Daily Star: "Susan simply doesn't want all that goes with fame and doesn't need all that space she's offered in hotel rooms.
"Unlike some of the younger acts to come from reality shows, Susan has had plenty of time to get used to life before celebrity.
"Finding herself in a giant hotel room with none of her home comforts has been overwhelming."
The source also said that Susan is being "looked after" by Simon Cowell and that she appreciated his efforts to treat her to a luxurious lifestlye.
They added: "Susan understands Simon wants the best for her, but she'd be just as happy in a smaller room."
"Susan is being treated as well, if not better, than any of Simon's other acts, but she's not the type of person to turn diva and make outrageous demands."
