Katie Price’s friends are reported to be increasingly concerned for her health and wellbeing, with the I’m A Celebrity star repeatedly in tears since her jungle exit, it’s been reported.
Friends of the 31-year-old glamour model claim that she has become inconsolable and increasingly anxious about spending Christmas alone, according to The Mirror.
Her ex-husband Peter Andre is set to have the children over the festive period, while Price publicly dumped recent boyfriend Alex Reid after her I’m A Celebrity stint.
Now friends and family have become so concerned about her that they’re drawing up plans to ensure she is not left alone.
A source said: “She is constantly in tears and feels very isolated. She has a lot of friends but when they leave there is no one there for her.
“Katie feels she has nothing to look forward to. Her book tour is over, it seemed the public hated her in the jungles and she is now single.”
It’s been claimed that Price's decision to dump Alex Reid on live TV was a ploy to win back Andre, as was her public apology for her recent behaviour.
An insider said: "Kate is desperate to get Pete back and her jungle appearance was all part of her game plan.
"She's finally realised what she's lost and will try anything to claw her way back into his heart.
"But she thought he wouldn't be able to forgive her unless she dumped Alex live on the show.”
