I’m A Celebrity…Joe and Kim go on the lash in ‘Jungle Arms’ trial

I’m A Celebrity…Joe and Kim go on the lash in ‘Jungle Arms’ trial

Following their ‘pythonesque’ snake trial Bad Pit, the pair were informed by I’m A Celeb hosts Ant and Dec on tonight’s show (Thu Nov 26) that the dynamic duo were once again the people’s choice for the latest challenge.

And frankly it turned into quite a sickly sight as the pair downed cocktails made up of unsavoury animal bits and bobs. Which Kim at least, quite literally found hard to stomach.

The trial took place in the Jungle Arms, a specially built bar set in camp, and consisted of five rounds during which Kim and Joe had to sink some unusual cocktails.

They included Castlemaine Four Legs ( pulped cockroaches and mealworms with a couple of live cockroaches as a garnish); Foreskin and Tonic (pulped crocodile foreskin, garnished with a crocodile penis stirrer) and a couple of Bum and Coke’s (pulped kangaroo anus and water) which the pair bravely downed  amongst others.

But it was the final selection Sam-Puka (pulped Witchetty grub, with a Witchetty grub garnish) and Eye-Ball, a glass of crushed crocs eyes with a croc eye garnish, that stretched their taste buds to the max. So much so that Kim threw up on herself after drinking some of the vile Sam –Puka concoction.

“I’ve sicked a little bit but not much,” she confessed to Ant and Dec who could hardly contain their laughter. Ant said: “We can’t take that one, will you give it another go?”

Joe chipped in: “My girl will take the other one, don’t look at it first though Kim and don’t make me fall out with you.”

Kim steeled herself,  took hold of the glass and said: “When it hits my throat it makes me gag,” and with that drank the glass of witchetty grub down in one with the result being the couple won meals for the whole camp –plus a bonus chocolate treat..

Joe said of the challenge: “It was disgusting but if I had to live on it, I would. It’s good that we’re able to feed the kids back at camp but I wouldn’t do it again. It’s a thrill for us to take the chocolate treat back home.”

Kim added: “If I had to live on it, I’d hang myself from the nearest tree.”

This was really hard to watch. I can't believe that Ant and Dec just stood there and laughed! Kim is definitely one of my favourites. Keep your favourite in the jungle and help to save lives as some of the money from the phone lines go to Malaria No More UK. http://tiny.cc/...fZFB7
