A US man mugged at gunpoint was handed back his belongings - because he was in the army.
The 21-year-old anonymous victim had a gun pointed at him by four men in Milwaukee and was ordered to lie face down.
They took his wallet, $16, keys, his mobile phone and even a snack bar.
It was only when the group's leader saw the man's Army ID, that he ordered the others to give the items - apart from his keys - back.
The victim said: "The guy continued to say throughout the situation that he respects what I do and at one point he actually thanked me and apologised.
"The leader of the group actually walked back, gave me a quick fist bump, which was strange."
