A British dog owner christened her much-loved pet in the local pub.
Amanda Solloway, 48, invited 70 guests to The Nags Head in Borrowash, Derby, to watch Bob her 20-week-old Newfoundland puppy dip his tongue in Pedigree beer.
Twenty canine guests were also invited to help eat the cake, which was made from liver, cheese and iced dog biscuits.
Amanda - who was determined to give her pet a memorable day - read out speeches and songs and guests were even given doggy bags to take home.
She said: "The event was about celebrating the dogs, being with friends and family and just having a right laugh. Besides, The Nags Head is my husband's place of worship, so to speak."
