Worried Katie Price and Peter Andre met up last night for the first time since they split, after the glamour model’s son Harvey was hospitalised with suspected swine flu.
The pair – who split in May and got officially divorced in September - kept a bedside vigil at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill after racing to be by his side.
Eight-year-old Harvey – who suffers from severe autism and septo optic dysplasia, which means he is partially sighted and needs round the clock care - fell ill at home, before being admitted to hospital.
And Price is said to be sick with worry that he could develop complications from the illness, which is particularly dangerous for youngsters under 14.
Pete – who regularly speaks of his fondness for Harvey - cancelled a planned appearance to switch on Christmas lights in a London store, to race to the hospital.
A source told The Mirror that Harvey's condition is worrying: “Harvey had a massive temperature and couldn't keep any food down either.
“More worryingly, his breathing was also a huge concern and there was no option but to urgently seek medical advice. The insider added: “He's a very poorly young man.”
It is believed that doctors have told Katie that Harvey will need to be kept in hospital for at least 48 hours while his condition is assessed.
The hospital visit the first time the couple, who have been involved in a public slanging match with each other following their split, have been alone for any significant time since their relationship ended.
