It’s been reported that Robert Pattinson has split from Kristen Stewart - with Kristen ending things because Rob was getting too serious too quickly.
An insider told America’s OK magazine: “Rob was talking marriage. The relationship was also stealing all of Kristen’s attention and keeping her from spending time with her friends and family.
“She told him they need to take a break.”
Rob and Kristen have been filming Eclipse in Vancouver, Canada, the third movie in the Twilight franchise after New Moon, but are due to wrap this week.
The pair also apparently came to blows about the logistics of a transatlantic romance.
It’s rumoured that Kristen was asking Rob to make the move to Los Angeles, while the notoriously reclusive British-born actor preferred to stay as far away from Hollywood as possible.
It was recently claimed that the couple had rented out several rooms at a Vancouver hotel at a cost of $850 a suite each night.
“They have two rooms joined by a door,” a source saide. “They use a third suite on the floor to listen to music or watch Blu-ray movies on a large, flat screen, when they stay in after a day’s shooting or on weekends.”
