Katie Price and Alex Reid seem to be a happy couple on the surface, making public displays of affection with days out with the children and rumoured wedding plans. However, sources close to the couple say that the two-month relationship could be about to hit the rocks.
Insiders have reportedly said that Katie, aka Jordan, has been complaining that Alex does not have a day job and has insisted that he has cosmetic surgery on his "cauliflower ears".
Sources told New! magazine that they have not had sex for a month even though they have made many public displays of affection.
The insider told the magazine: "Alex is getting really frustrated because Katie's not interested in having sex.
"He has a really high sex drive, so always tries it on when he finally gets into bed with her. But she just gives him a cuddle - nothing more."
They continued: "Katie's started telling him to come to bed an hour after her, which has left him feeling really put out."
"Jordan pokes fun at Alex for not having a day job and calls him a loser.
"She also tells him he should go under the knife. She thinks he needs surgery on his nose and ears, which she calls "cauliflower ears" because parts have been bitten off during his fights.
"Her put-downs make Alex feel inadequate and he has admitted he's constantly treading on eggshells around her.
"The public image of them being a happy couple is a sham."
